Staying at Villa Gladtjärn was a delightful experience, particularly during the chilly May days we spent here. The hotel's views of the lake surrounded by lush forests were as stunning as the promotional photos promised. Unlike the typical chain hotels, the warm eclectic decor gave the place a cozy charm that felt like a hug on a rainy day, especially when we relaxed by the fireplace in the lobby. Coupled with a solid dinner menu and a fantastic breakfast buffet, our two-night stay felt like a true getaway in the Swedish countryside. With some discounts on room rates, I left feeling this place is a gem, and I’m already looking forward to returning in winter to witness the serene beauty of the snow-covered lake!
